General Questions
What time is the performance at Disney Springs?
The exact time of the performance will be announced closer to the date. Disney usually gives us a time just a few weeks before the performance.
Where will the performance take place?
The performance will take place at the Disney Springs Waterside Stage.
What time should dancers arrive for the performance?
Dancers are usually scheduled to arrive at least 2 hours before the scheduled performance time for check-in, warm-ups, and costume preparation.
What is the attire for the performance?
All dancers should wear their designated costumes to be determined. We will likely order a special costume for this performance. The expected cost will be around $75. Hair and makeup instructions will be shared beforehand.
How long will the performance last?
The performance will last approximately 25 minutes.
What if there is bad weather?
If there is bad weather in the area, Disney may adjust our time up or back. In very rare cases of severe weather, performances may be cancelled.
How will my dancer get to the backstage areas?
Disney requires us to charter a bus to take performers and staff only to the rehearsal facility and to the stage. We will split the cost of the charter among the performers.
Workshop Questions
Where will the workshop take place?
The workshop will be held at a designated Disney Performing Arts location within Walt Disney World Resort. Details will be shared closer to the event.
Once again, we may be required to Charter a bus to take performers to the workshop.
What time does the workshop begin?
The workshop time will be announced closer to the date.
What should dancers wear to the workshop?
Dancers should wear studio-approved dance attire (leotard, tights, and/or leggings) with appropriate dance shoes. Hair should be neatly secured in a bun.
Will parents be allowed to observe the workshop?
Disney Performing Arts workshops are typically closed to parents. You will be able to pick up your dancer promptly after the session.
Travel and Logistics
Do parents need to purchase tickets for the Disney Springs performance?
No tickets are required for the performance at Disney Springs. It is open to the public and free to attend.
Is transportation provided to and from the events?
No, transportation is not provided. Families are responsible for arranging their own transportation to Disney Springs and the workshop location.
What are the parking arrangements for the performance?
Disney Springs offers complimentary parking in its parking garages. Arrive early to secure a spot, as it can be busy on weekends.
Do dancers need admission tickets for the workshop?
Admission tickets to Walt Disney World are typically required for workshops when located inside of a Disney theme park.
Additional Information
Can I take videos of the performance?
Yes, parents can take videos of their child’s dances. We also will have a studio video taken that will be of the entire show.
How do I get to Florida?
That is completely up to your family. We have families that choose to fly, and others that drive.
Where will I stay?
Every family chooses their own accomodations. You may choose on or off property.
How long should I visit for?
Once again, that is up to each individual family.
